Our Mission is to Help a World in Pain

Soovu Labs is focused on transforming the treatment of chronic pain by providing safe, effective alternatives to pills and invasive procedures to temporarily relieve musculoskeletal pain.

Founded In Science

Through years of study, experimentation, and listening to patients, our doctors discovered that targeted pulses of high-energy heat substantially reduces pain.

Empathy was our motivator

It all began when Drs. Chabal and Dunbar, board certified physicians in pain management at the University of Washington, were personally moved by witnessing the tragedy that opioids wrought on patients and their families. They challenged themselves: could there be a new, drug-free approach to treating chronic pain?

With over 10 years of R&D and a $1.5 million grant from the National Institute of Health, the doctors discovered a drug-free, effective way to treat chronic musculoskeletal pain.

"

For me, relief was pretty much immediate and long-lasting

“I recently had a baby and I’ve had a lot of lower back pain since then. Since I’ve been breastfeeding, I try to minimize medications for pain and just take an occasional Tylenol, so to have Soovu as an adjunct therapy for pain has been incredibly helpful. I’ve used heat in the past to help with pain, but Soovu is really different. You can feel the heat right away, in a very targeted place where you feel pain. Relief was pretty much immediate for me and long-lasting."
