Premera is pleased to sponsor this six month pilot for chronic and musculoskeletal pain relief. Through this pilot, Premera will evaluate the system for its potential to relieve pain, improve wellbeing, and help reduce musculoskeletal-related costs.
A couple things before you enroll
We hope you experience pain relief and increased comfort from your use of the Soovu system. When the six month pilot concludes, you’ll be asked to return your Soovu kit. Should you prefer to keep your kit and continue using it, Premera will purchase it on your behalf, and you will be charged a 29% fringe benefit tax on the Soovu system’s market value of $599. Taxes will be deducted from your paycheck.
How the pilot works:

  1. Eligible employees enroll in the Soovu Program

  2. A Soovu system is sent to each enrollee

  3. Enrollees use Soovu for pain relief

  4. Enrollees complete feedback surveys

  5. Enrollees return Soovu kit

Individuals with the following conditions are not eligible for the pilot:

  • Neuropathy / nerve damage

  • A condition in which pain or heat cannot be felt

  • Allergy to adhesives

  • Pregnant or possibly pregnant

As an Enrollee in this pilot, you are asked to:

  • Commit to fully participating for six months

  • Engage with the device and coaches

  • Complete requested feedback surveys

Cost

There is no cost to participate in the pilot program.

Should you opt to keep the Soovu System at the end of the pilot and continue using it, Premera will purchase it on your behalf, and you will be charged a 29% fringe benefit tax on the Soovu system’s market value of $599. Taxes will be deducted from your paycheck.

Participants who keep their Soovu System after the termination of the pilot will be provided with an additional six months of Soovu service from their enrollment date for no additional charge.

Earn up to $100 in digital gift cards

You’ll have the opportunity to receive two gift cards:

  • $50 digital gift card for completing your first heating session with the Soovu device

  • $50 digital gift card for completing all five feedback surveys sent over the course of the pilot
